Yes it was hectic
Driving up and down large swats of the Netherlands
To and fro a procedure that I am very proud of
Euthanasia
In many places around the world
It is seen as a cruel
Yet here
People can choose
In clear dialogue with their doctor
And a neutral second doctor
When they wish their life to end
Not a wishy-washy decision
A clear decision
Which is reviewed
By an independent panel
One day
People may see
That we are on the right path in the Netherlands
