Darfur disaster - again and again

As the news trickles in

A mass killing in El Fashir

Preventable as ever

Yet as the prolonged conflict

Has shown us

Vested interest will make this conflict

Last for decades more

As we all are making a killing

During a killing

Gold, human trafficking, small arms sales

Testing ground for drone warfare

Perhaps biochemical warfare

As I type thousands have been shot and killed

Awaiting famine and outbreak of communicable disease

All life matters

I wish we could

Act accordingly
