Namaskar. I greet you in the Bengali way.
My name is Ashis Brahma. I am the proud father of Anish (12) and Nisha (14). By profession, I am a forensic doctor (medical examiner), and by passion, I am a storyteller.
Beyond my work, my days are filled with poetry, dancing, cooking, painting, walking in nature, and meaningful conversations. These keep me grounded, alive, and connected to the beauty of life.

⚖️ My Work
In my role as a forensic doctor, I engage with many layers of human experience:
• Care in custody: examining people in police custody, often with complex challenges like psychiatric conditions, addictions, or involvement in crime.
• Cause of death: investigating deaths ranging from natural causes to accidents, suicides, euthanasia, and in some cases, murder.
• Forensic examinations: supporting survivors of violence, rape, and abuse by documenting injuries and writing reports for the courts.
It is demanding work, but deeply meaningful — because every case tells a story. My task is to give that story its voice in service of truth and justice.
